LONDON MARATHON FUNDRAISER UPDATE
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALISON YOULES WHO COMPLETED THE LONDON MARATHON IN
4 HOURS AND 53 MINUTES
AND RAISED FUNDS FOR CLARKS FARM

Thousands of greyhounds retire from racing every year. Some are less than two years old; the majority are aged around three and four. Many people do not realise that greyhounds make excellent family pets. They are gentle, loving and adapt to home life easily. Contrary to common belief they are actually very lazy and only need two 20 minute walks each day. When re-homed responsibly they can live with other breeds of dogs and other pets such as cats.

All our greyhounds are neutered, fully vaccinated, flea & worm treated and micro-chipped. We also provide 4 weeks free pet insurance, a leather collar & lead and a bowl.
Our expert team at the kennels can work with you to match the right greyhound to your circumstances, as all our greyhounds are fully socialised and cat tested prior to re-homing. Clarks farm also offers full post adoption support including behavioural advice.
We are open from 10am till 4pm , 7 days a week.

Angela was inspired to write Doggerel to promote rescue dogs – “the moving memoirs of rescue dogs and their second lives, in poetry and prose”. It can be bought online and is being sold in aid of the Association of Dogs’ and Cats’ Homes. The Retired Greyhound Trust, of which Clarks Farm is their Maldon and Tiptree branch, are members.
This book will make a great present for any animal lover !
